Eitan Hoffer studied violin and classical guitar in Haifa and Jerusalem. From 1992 to1998, he specialized in early music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, where he studied Baroque violin with Manfredo Kraemer and Florian Deuter, and lute with Fred Jacobs. Eitan has performed with a wide variety of ensembles in Holland, Germany, Belgium, Italy and Austria. In 1998, Eitan placed third in the Wassenaar Competition (The Hague). In Israel, he has appeared with the Dionysius Ensemble, the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra and Barrocade. He teaches violin and classical guitar and is an accomplished Baroque bow maker. |
